It is offered in a number of modules covering accounts, stock, sales orders and purchase orders so the purchaser can start simply and add modules to the system as required. The price ranges from £525 for a single user Accountant copy to £2275 for a 6-user Financial Controller version.

This huge time saver is an ideal package for small to medium sized companies. Sage Payroll has a capability of processing payroll in most environments. It calculates SSP, SMP, pension contributions, holiday pay and also allows you to keep a holiday diary and such items as next of kin information on the system. There is a built in link to Sage 50 and Sage 200 for the accounting system postings, if you wish to use it. With a price of £250 for the first level, with up to 50 employees, it is an affordable solution. There are versions for 100 employees, unlimited employees and also network options and timesheet entry modules available.

This is designed for the very small business. It is a cut-down version of the Sage 50 product, with fully functioning ledgers and sales invoicing. The price of Sage Instant Accounting starts at £129 including VAT. Sage Instant Payroll is also available as a simple payroll system designed for up to 10 employees, at a price of £99 inc VAT. Starting with these systems helps prepare you to use the full Sage systems as your business grows.
